EllieBranstone: ::eyes open, a little reluctantly. For a second, she's a little bewildered by the arm around her waist, but as she wakes up all the way, she smiles and snuggles back into Natalie's arms::
Broodygryffindor: ::doesn't really snore, not exactly, but sometimes she makes these little half-groan noises and mumbles in her sleep. like now, for instance, when she feels Ellie pressing up against her and makes a soft and drowsy happy noise and snuggles back::
EllieBranstone: ::sighs happily, until she catches a glimpse of her alarm clock and frowns:: Natalie?
Broodygryffindor: ::shifts slightly and actually grunts this time, which is a much less happy sound that tends to accompany her starting the gradual process of waking up:: ... hmm? ::is still very much half-asleep, though, and refuses to open her eyes just yet::
EllieBranstone: Natalie, it's after six. We have to wake up.
Broodygryffindor: Oh.. fuck. Alright. ::grunts again, eyes slowly blinking open. After giving their surroundings a quick glance over, she offers Ellie a slanted grin:: Good morning, sunshine.
EllieBranstone: ::grins back:: Morning. Sleep well?
Broodygryffindor: ::does this half-hearted stretching motion which is the best she can do without removing her one arm from around Ellie's waist, which she's just not willing to do at the moment, nodding:: Yeeeah. ::the word ends up with lots of extra syllables as it's caught in the middle of a yawn:: Mmm. You?
EllieBranstone: ::nods:: I'm glad you came over.
Broodygryffindor: Well. So am I.
Broodygryffindor: .... are you really?
EllieBranstone: Glad? Yes.
Broodygryffindor: ::smiles:: Good. ::stares at Ellie for a moment or two before realizing that she's doing it and immediately glancing away, clearing her throat:: They, uh. They awake? ::eyes the other beds occupying the room, squinting to try and make out anything behind the curtains::
EllieBranstone: I...I don't think so. They usually sleep until the last minute.
Broodygryffindor: ::grins slowly and leans down to whisper in Ellie's ear:: Guess we have to be quiet, then.
EllieBranstone: ::nods:: Yes, we'd better.
Broodygryffindor: ::smirks:: And here I was hoping for a pillow fight.
EllieBranstone: ::grins:: There's always tonight for the pillow fight.
Broodygryffindor: Ooh. Okay. I like that idea. ::snuggles a little closer, grinning a bit of a pointed, evil grin against Ellie's neck:: ... you aren't ticklish, are you dear?
EllieBranstone: Yes, I am. Don't get any ideas, or I might have to...um...be Evil at you again.
Broodygryffindor: Oh. Wouldn't want that..
Broodygryffindor: ... but I bet you're cute when you squirm.
EllieBranstone: I am not cute when I squirm.
Broodygryffindor: ::shrugs, casually:: Shall we find out?
EllieBranstone: No, we shall not, unless you want to wake up the whole school.
Broodygryffindor: ::sighs dramatically and slumps back against the pillow, pouting:: *Fine*.
EllieBranstone: Oh, you should pout more often. It's adorable. ::giggles::
Broodygryffindor: ::raising an eyebrow, half incredulous:: Oh, is it?
EllieBranstone: It really is.
Broodygryffindor: Hm. I'll keep that in mind.
Broodygryffindor: ::reluctantly pulls her arm away from where it'd been wrapped comfortably around Ellie's waist and rolls over onto her back. She squints, blinking vigorously in an attempt to become more fully awake and hesitates just a moment before reaching over to give Ellie a gentle poke in the side. just because::
EllieBranstone: ::squeals, then claps her hand over her mouth::
Broodygryffindor: ::gets that same pointed, whicked little grin, the tip of her tongue pressing against her teeth as she turns her head to give Ellie an amused, half-smirking look:: Something wrong?
EllieBranstone: That tickled.
Broodygryffindor: ::blinks several times and tries to look innocent, but the remaining bits of a smirk are really just a dead give away:: ... oh. Did it?
EllieBranstone: You know it did.
Broodygryffindor: Well... ::squirms a little under the covers:: I had a hunch that it might, yes. ::coughs and replaces the smirk with a slightly apologetic grin:: ... sorry?
EllieBranstone: ::pretending to be offended:: I suppose.
Broodygryffindor: ::pouts, because it's adorable and nobody can stay mad at someone who's being adorable. obviously:: Oh, please. Just *how* can I ever make it up to you?
EllieBranstone: ::grins:: I'm sure you'll think of something.
Broodygryffindor: ::raises her eyebrows and smirks:: Oh. Well. I'm sure I can manage that..
Broodygryffindor: ::yawns and glances over at the clock for the first time. There's a slight pause in which she just regards it with glaring resentment for a few seconds, and then:: We need to get up and dressed.
EllieBranstone: Unless you want my entire dorm to know you were here, yes. ::reluctantly sitting up::
Broodygryffindor: ::sighs:: Right. ::still doesn't move::
Broodygryffindor: Hm. How about we just hide here under the covers? I'm sure they won't notice.
EllieBranstone: ::sighs:: McGonagall will, when I'm not in Transfiguration.
Broodygryffindor: Oh. right. Classes. ::snorts softly:: I forgot. ::glares for a bit longer, just to make it quite clear that she's getting up only under much protest, and then, somehow sighing and yawning at about the same time, sits up, mumbling half to herself:: ... where're my clothes?
EllieBranstone: Back in the Gryffindor dorms?
Broodygryffindor: ::squints:: ... oh. fuck. You're right. ::snorts quietly and grins:: I really should plan all of this out a little better the next time. You think?
EllieBranstone: It probably couldn't hurt. ::smiles at her::
Broodygryffindor: ::starts to say something that would, no doubt, be marvelously brilliant but, suddenly distracted by Ellie's smile, decides against it. Instead, she just smiles back::
EllieBranstone: ::sighs:: you should probably go, you know.
Broodygryffindor: ::blinks and does that quickly glancing away thing again. Oh my, what fascinating sheets you have, Ellie.:: Right. Sorry. ::nods a few times, slipping out from beneath the covers:: I, uh. Should go. Right.
EllieBranstone: ::hesitates for a minute:: If you get bored, this afternoon, I'll be in the library studying. If you have homework to do.
Broodygryffindor: ::smiles slowly:: Okay... thanks. ::is just about to quietly hop up from the bed and squeeze past the curtains when she's hit by a sudden thought. She hesitates, awkwardly uncertain, and then, with a small "aw fuck it" shrug of her shoulders, leans in and gives Ellie a quick kiss on the cheek, murmuring in her ear:: I'll miss you..
Broodygryffindor: ::doesn't pull back right away, even though there are a great many voices in her head saying she probably should. respect another person's private bubble and all that::
EllieBranstone: ::smiles hugely:: I'll miss you, too, you know.
Broodygryffindor: ::smiles back, and brushes a hand against Ellie's cheek:: Yeah. I know.
EllieBranstone: ::suddenly feels very awkward:: I'll see you this afternoon?
Broodygryffindor: ::belatedly realizes that, yes, she's still awfully close and perhaps it'd be best if she backed up a little. which she does, nodding:: Right. Sure. If you like. ::swallows and half-smiles:: Sorry. I, uh. should probably go.
EllieBranstone: Yeah. You probably should. And yes. I'd like that.
Broodygryffindor: ::nods a few more times, because it somehow feels like the right thing to do:: So. I'll see you then. ::offers a quick grin and stands suddenly, slipping out through the curtain around the bed and trying to tip-toe as she crosses for the door::
