DragonmanWeasley: Miss Clearwater?
LucidH2O1221: Hello, Mr. Weasley.
DragonmanWeasley: ::smiles:: I wanted to drop by and thank you personally for taking care of Ron.
LucidH2O1221: Oh, its nothing...but, you're welcome.
DragonmanWeasley: Knowing ROn, I'm sure it was quite a handful.
LucidH2O1221: Well... I'm very glad for the Full Body-Bind. Once he calmed down and I could give him a sleeping draught, he was fine.
DragonmanWeasley: Mmm... out of danger, perhaps... but I'm afraid it could happen again... for no better reason.
LucidH2O1221: I've noticed Ron's quite the...er, pistol of the family.
DragonmanWeasley: ::chuckles:: It's all right, you can say it. He's stubborn as a legion of centaurs.
LucidH2O1221: That too.
DragonmanWeasley: ::smiles, leans against the wall:: ... Ms. Clearwater.. I'm afraid I have no idea what to do.
LucidH2O1221: ::sighs:: Well... I'm afraid that my field of study wasn't psychology, but... try and keep him talking... He kept saying that he hurts people.
DragonmanWeasley: Yes, he mentioned that. He seemed in lighter spirits when I left, but... ::smiles:: if he were a dragon, I'd know what to do.
LucidH2O1221: ::small smile:: Well if it was all physical trouble, I'd know what to do. My best advice, for the moment... just be there for him. And encourage others to do the same.
DragonmanWeasley: ::nods:: That is, of course, wise. ::smiles softly:: I'm very glad you were able to calm him.
LucidH2O1221: Me, too... I'm glad someone stopped him in the first place.
DragonmanWeasley: Yes... a Mr. Crabbe, wasn't it?
LucidH2O1221: Yes.
DragonmanWeasley: Hmm... peculiar that.
LucidH2O1221: I found it a bit strange myself. But, no stranger than finding Ron in the middle of the floor with body bind and Silence on him.
DragonmanWeasley: Ron gave me the impression they were... far from friendly.
LucidH2O1221: ::rolls eyes:: Aren't Slytherins and Gryffindors always, though?
DragonmanWeasley: Ron had mentioned a certain... attraction between Mr. Crabbe and our sister. And he is very protective of her. Almost... unusually so.
DragonmanWeasley: So it's little wonder that Ron doesn't like him. But, yes, to answer your question, Gryffindor and Slytherin houses tend to... take the competitiveness to new levels. ::sly grin::
LucidH2O1221: ::laughs:: I've noticed that.
DragonmanWeasley: I can't say a word against it, I was a participant in my day.
LucidH2O1221: ::smirks:: I managed to keep out of the muck when I was in school. Although I have to say Slytherin and Gryffindor both play amazing games of Quidditch. The competitiveness is... enhanced?
DragonmanWeasley: ::laughs:: Enhanced... is that a polite word for near-bloodletting?
LucidH2O1221: Its certainly fierce. ::grins::
DragonmanWeasley: ::chuckles:: Yes it is. And the... competition between potter and malfoy is the shining example.
LucidH2O1221: Ah... those two... ::shakes head::
DragonmanWeasley: Imagin having to coach them at seeking.
LucidH2O1221: ::laughs:: You have my utmost sympathy and pity.
DragonmanWeasley: I may have to ask special permission to hex my students ::tongue firmly in cheek::
LucidH2O1221: ::laughs:: You will most not likely get it; fair warning.
DragonmanWeasley: I suppose it depends on whom I ask::halo::
LucidH2O1221: ::grins::
DragonmanWeasley: ::winks::
DragonmanWeasley: I wonder if I should talk to Miss Bell... ::thinking out loud::
LucidH2O1221: Well, should you decide to hex them anyway, you'll not hear a word from me.
LucidH2O1221: Katie's pretty safe to talk to.
DragonmanWeasley: ::bows gallantly:: Thank you, Milady, you're most kind.
DragonmanWeasley: Mmm... I don't want her to think I'm trying to push her into anything, I think... of course, I may just be meddling.
LucidH2O1221: Don't worry, meddling is fairly common around here.
LucidH2O1221: ::is quite the meddler herself::
DragonmanWeasley: I remember ;-)
LucidH2O1221: ::laughs::
DragonmanWeasley: ::stretches:: Well.. I suppose I should let you get back to your work, hmm?
LucidH2O1221: Ah, work. ::sighs:: Yes, I suppose so. Thank you for stopping by.
DragonmanWeasley: My pleasure. ::turns to go, then stops:: Ms. Clearwater, I may be out of line... but would dinner some night be out of the question?
LucidH2O1221: ::smiles, blushes a little:: I... I suppose not. I must warn you, though, I'm awfully busy as of late.
DragonmanWeasley: I completely understand. ::smiles:: I'll leave it an open invitation. You could seek me out when you have the time. I guarantee a fine dining experience.
LucidH2O1221: Sounds lovely.
DragonmanWeasley: ::smiles brightly:: Feel free to ring me up any time.
LucidH2O1221: ::grins:: I'll see you around.
DragonmanWeasley: I look forward to it. ::bows slightly and walks out, though it looked as if he'd have kissed her hand, given the chance::
LucidH2O1221: ::smiles, goes back to various desk work::
